"The NEBLSA Convention career fair was an excellent opportunity to secure internships and make genuine connections with firms and public interest groups. The plenary session provided a safe space to collectively discuss student concerns and possible solutions. Lastly, the opportunity to connect with other law students of color to support each other was by far my favorite experience".

"I had an incredible experience attending the 2024 NEBLSA Convention. The event provided an invaluable opportunity to engage in multiple panels and connect with fellow students of color from schools across the Northeast region. The highlight of the convention was the career fair, where I had the chance to interview with employers I might not have otherwise had access to. This experience ultimately led to receiving two summer internship offers, opening doors for potential future opportunities".
- Alexis Adrien, 3L
"At Hofstra Law, I've had the opportunity to attend this convention previously as a BLSA representative. One year, I met a 2L student from Harvard Law and we remained in contact over the years. After learning that many of our members are interested in Sports and Entertainment Law, I organized a Zoom meeting to connect some of our members with this contact who was now a second-year associate at a top NYC law firm that specializes in this area. The meeting went extremely well and now members have a personal connection at this prestigious law firm. This opportunity would not have been possible if I had not attended the NEBLSA Convention and made such a valuable connection.”
