The Long Island Studies Institute is dedicated to the study of Long Island local heritage and regional New York state history. The Institute, situated within Hofstra University Library, holds special collections and archival materials and provides reading room services to facilitate research and public inquiries. A gift to this fund will enable us to continue to provide services, grow the collections, develop exhibits, sponsor meetings and conferences, and develop publications pertaining to Long Island and its heritage.
