Each summer, many Hofstra Law students work in unpaid public interest law settings, including government, legal services, and non-profit offices. Summer stipends provided by the Law School’s Public Justice Foundation (PJF), provide meaningful financial support for our students who are committed to this work. In addition, the students’ work directly improves access to justice for the clients they serve and allows for more efficient and effective operations in local, state, and federal government, including the court systems. But these results are only achieved through the generous support of donors like you!
“Through the support of the Public Justice Foundation, I was able to pursue my passion for criminal law at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where my commitment to public defense truly flourished. The experience was both deeply rewarding and instrumental in strengthening my legal skills. Without PJF’s funding, this invaluable opportunity would not have been possible.” - Jessica Sperling Class of 2026, PJF President
Would you make a gift to help our public interest students participate with a local public service organization?
Thank you in advance for your support.
