As proud graduates of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law, Valerie (Sheirr) (‘90) and Mark (‘89) Seelig have always cherished the friendships, memories and experiences that have helped shape their lives. The education they received at Hofstra Law has been invaluable, and they are deeply grateful for the opportunities it has provided.
In 2017, Valerie and Mark established a permanent endowment to support scholarships for those talented students needing a little extra help to support their dreams of becoming a lawyer. Directly seeing the benefits to truly appreciative and ambitious students, they are inspired to do more. With that in mind, they are pleased to offer a Challenge: Valerie and Mark will make an additional $100,000 donation to Hofstra Law in the hope that their fellow alumni collectively contribute an additional $50,000.
This challenge is not only about financial support; it is a call to action for all of those who have benefited from Hofstra Law’s supportive environment. Join Valerie and Mark in this endeavor and together, you can turn $50,000 into $150,000 and make a significant impact on the lives of current and future law students.
Please note that your donation can be dedicated or directed in any way you like and can support any aspect of the Law School you wish to support
Thank you for joining in this important effort!
